Do you have experience in sea freight export and thrive in a role with high customer contact and personal responsibility? Our client is now looking for a Sea Freight Forwarder to join their ocean team in Gothenburg for a staffing assignment starting immediately.

About the role

This is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately until the turn of the year. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at our client's company. There are good opportunities for extending the assignment.

In this role, you will become part of an ocean team handling sea freight exports, primarily targeting smaller and medium-sized customers with varying shipments. The work is characterized by an operational pace, clear processes, and close collaboration between colleagues, customers, and external partners.

💼 Responsibilities

As a Sea Freight Forwarder, you will handle the entire export flow for sea freight. You manage bookings, planning, and follow-up of shipments and serve as a key contact point for both customers and external partners. The role involves significant personal responsibility where you drive your cases from start to finish, while collaborating closely with colleagues in the team.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Booking and planning sea freight via shipping lines and agents
• Daily contact with customers and providing advice on transport modes, transit times, and costs
• Handling export and customs documentation
• Tracking cargo from booking to delivery and coordinating parties such as shipping lines, terminals, and trucking companies
• Responsible for invoicing and cost control on shipments

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Some years of experience in sea freight export
• System proficiency in forwarding systems, preferably CargoWise

You are a good team player but also capable of taking ownership of your own work and driving your tasks forward. You are confident in your professional role, clear in your communication, and have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
