About your role

As a Cyber Security Specialist at Åhléns, you play a central role in ensuring that our systems, applications, and cloud environments are secure, robust, and available for the business.

You work both operationally and strategically with security – from identifying risks and handling incidents to developing and implementing security solutions and frameworks. The role involves close collaboration with architects, developers, and other parts of the IT organization, where you contribute your expertise to strengthen our security capabilities.

In a business where digital development is crucial, you become a key person in protecting the business and enabling continued innovation.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate security solutions for cloud-based systems, databases, and networks
• Collaborate with architects and developers on security requirements and implementation
• Monitor and analyze logs to identify threats and security incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and propose actions
• Handle and follow up on security incidents
• Produce security reports at both technical and strategic levels
• Ensure that the IT environment meets requirements according to GDPR, NIS2, and ISO27001
• Contribute to the development of working methods, routines, and security frameworks

What you bring to us:

• Experience working in cyber security
• Experience with security solutions within infrastructure, applications, or IAM
• Experience with security monitoring and incident handling
• Understanding of cloud-based environments
• Knowledge of regulations and standards such as GDPR
• Certifications such as CISSP or similar are advantageous

About the recruitment

The position is a permanent full-time role located at Åhléns headquarters in Stockholm.
