As an excavator operator at Kaj Johanssons Åkeri, you are a vital part of our field projects. You work closely with project managers, site foremen, and skilled tradespeople, driving projects forward together – from planning to final delivery.

You are involved in daily planning and have the opportunity to influence how the work is carried out. The role also includes contact with clients and customers, making the job both varied and social.

We work with all types of earthworks and civil engineering tasks, both in our own contracting projects and through the rental of machinery with operators. No two days are alike – assignments vary, offering you the chance to work both independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for you who are an experienced excavator operator, with several years in the industry and confidence in your professional role. You are a team player who thrives on collaboration but also appreciates the freedom of working independently at times.

You enjoy variety, take responsibility for your work, and are driven by the satisfaction of leaving behind a job well done. You will primarily be working in the Umeå region.
