About the Role
Are you passionate about developing people in a technically challenging environment to create engaged employees who help our customers in the best possible way? Then you might be the one we are looking for! You will represent one of the world's strongest brands, where proud, happy, and demanding customers are part of your daily life.
We are now looking for a new Workshop Foreman for our facility in Hovsjö – Region Stockholm South!
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that daily work is carried out according to current instructions in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner, which is economically beneficial for both the customer and the workshop. At Scania, workplace safety is a priority, and you have a leading role in encouraging and ensuring a safe and long-term sustainable way of working. As a member of the workshop team, you are involved in the workshop's administration and continuously work to maintain good relationships with customers. You also ensure that work planning and information about completed work are clear, both internally and to the customer.
Your main tasks will include planning work in dialogue with customers and workshop technicians, contacting technical support, and ensuring efficiency and quality in the work performed. In the workshop team, we cover for each other, and you may step into other roles when needed.
Who are you?
- You thrive on many contacts, handling a variety of cases, and can quickly step in to help your colleagues with technical problems.
- You have a technical education or equivalent work experience and a strong interest in vehicles.
- You are driven, communicative, and possess a good ability to build and maintain relationships.
- You are skilled at planning and organizing.
- As a person, you are service-oriented and orderly.
- You contribute with a good mood and a high work ethic.
- Above all, you are passionate about developing people, which is why we appreciate that you have good leadership skills.
As part of our team, you are flexible and enjoy the challenge of solving both quick and more complex cases for our customers. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A Category B driver's license is required; having C, CE, and/or D licenses is an advantage. Your contributions with good ideas for our improvement work are welcome, as we constantly challenge our processes.
Who are we?
We are a team of friendly and skilled colleagues within the workshop, spare parts, and sales departments. Together, we help each other grow with the task and develop both in our careers and as individuals.
