As an Operations Manager Online, you are responsible for sales within a delegated area of responsibility in the store. In this case, Online. You work both operationally and coachingly, leading daily sales activities, driving sales, ensuring routines, and making sure the store presents an attractive image every day.

You welcome new employees with a secure and inspiring introduction, and you create a daily routine where development, engagement, and job satisfaction go hand in hand. With you at the helm, the team becomes not just efficient – but cohesive, proud, and ready to deliver top service every day.

As the role model you are, you demonstrate Coop's values in everything you do. You take responsibility, stand up for quality, and ensure that laws, agreements, and guidelines are always followed – in a secure and professional manner.

Your main areas of responsibility

  • Lead the daily work in your area of responsibility (and the entire store if necessary)
  • Ensure efficient work with the Online operations

But it may also include:

  • Create an inspiring, sales-driven, and well-organized store environment.
  • Ensure efficient operations through staffing, supply, price maintenance, and order.
  • Optimize margins through smart product placement on islands and endcaps.
  • Provide a top-class customer experience according to Coop's guidelines.
  • Professional handling of complaints and claims.
  • Perform cash register duties if necessary.
  • Follow up on sales, budget, margins, and key figures.
  • Drive measures and initiatives that strengthen profitability and reduce waste.
  • Be responsible for supplier invoices and work according to the routines in Coop's Operations Manual.
  • Ensure that "clean and tidy" routines are followed and be responsible for the maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Contribute to the compliance of Coop's sustainability policy and participate in quality and safety work related to SAM, Coop Self-Control, and other quality systems.

In addition to the duties of an Operations Manager Online, other tasks may occur as needed.

The position is a permanent position of 35 hours/week with immediate start or as agreed. Working hours vary and are scheduled during day and evening times as well as weekends. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Experience and Competence

  • Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required.
  • High school education (required).
  • Experience in retail sales.
  • Punctuality.
  • Documented good sales results (meritorious).
  • Experience in leadership or workforce management (meritorious).
