Do you want to work close to the technology, be out in the field, and ensure that the right data is collected from field tests? We are now looking for a Measurement Engineer to join our Field Test & Measurement Support team. Here you will play a key role in supporting test activities and contributing to the development of future powertrains and systems!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Measurement Engineer, you will become an important part of our client's measurement and field test team. You will work with configuring and ensuring the quality of measurements through telematics systems and other measurement equipment. The role involves varied work where you combine technology, problem-solving, and collaboration with different functions.
You will:
- Plan and conduct measurement activities in field tests.
- Configure and maintain logging and measurement systems.
- Ensure that the correct data is collected according to the customer's and project's needs.
- Manage and follow up on measurement equipment such as cabling, telematics units, and related hardware.
- Collaborate closely with other teams within testing and development.
- Contribute to developing and improving our measurement and support systems.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE:
- A university degree (BSc or MSc), preferably in electronics, mechatronics, or similar.
- Experience with measurement or telematics systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet is an advantage.
- An interest in programming or data handling (e.g., Python) is a plus.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Furthermore, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. To thrive in this role, you are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in an environment where not all answers are readily available. You are service-minded and have the ability to prioritize when the pace is high. You dare to ask questions, take initiative, and drive things forward.
We believe you have an interest in data, measurement, and technical systems, and that you are structured yet flexible, as days can vary. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility and solve problems independently, while also having good collaboration skills and communicating clearly with others. Additionally, you are stress-resistant and capable of handling multiple tasks in parallel.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client's and our side is that you will subsequently become a permanent employee at the client company.
OTHER INFO:
- Scope: Full-time.
- Start: Immediately (by agreement).
- Location: Gothenburg.
- Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
