Are you our new chef or a colleague with a passion for food and a flair for cooking? Do you want to help develop our breakfast offering at Restaurang Logen and give our guests a truly great start to their day? Our ambition is to maintain the same high quality throughout the day – from breakfast to dinner. At our restaurant, guests should recognize the craftsmanship, flavors, and thoughtfulness regardless of the time of day.

We are now looking for an engaged chef for a varied position where you will work with both breakfast and evening service in our à la carte restaurant.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Restaurang Logen offers à la carte breakfast, lunch, and a 4-course dinner menu. In this role, you will work broadly in the kitchen – from preparing breakfast dishes to cooking and serving dinner courses.

We are in an exciting phase of development as we take the next step in our breakfast initiative, and you will become an important part of this work.

The position involves working during both day and evening hours, as well as every other weekend.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cooking who thrives in a service-oriented role. You are self-motivated, structured, and have an eye for detail.

You appreciate variety in your work and see the value in working both day and evening shifts. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself and our kitchen towards our high-set goals.

FACTS

Scope: 80–100%

Employment type: Permanent (6-month probationary period)

Salary: According to agreement (monthly or hourly wage)

ABOUT ÄSTAD VINGÅRD

Ästad Vingård is one of Sweden's largest vineyards, featuring organic wine growing and its own wine production. The Solaris grape is primarily cultivated with a focus on sparkling wine. The estate offers 82 rooms for overnight guests, as well as conference facilities for 100+ participants. It also features Sinnenas Spa, inspired by the surrounding nature reserves, Åkulla Beech Forests. The restaurants Logen and Smakbaren serve everything from breakfast to lunch, snacks, and dinner. Located adjacent to Ästad Vingård is also Restaurant ÄNG. Ästad Vingård is a family-owned business in its third generation and is located just outside Varberg.
