Miljöåkeriet i Umeå AB is a company with a strong focus on the environment and a sustainable future. Academic Work is now looking for a person who wants to work on an as-needed basis and has the opportunity to work full-time during the summer, specifically in weeks W.30-31.

About the position

This is a part-time position where you will work on an as-needed basis. This means that working hours may vary over time, with the exception of weeks 31-32, where we see that you, as the applicant, are available to work full-time. Start date is by agreement.

You are offered a dynamic work environment where you, together with the driver, travel around Umeå city center to ensure that waste management is handled properly. Furthermore, you are offered a dedicated consultant manager at Academic Work who is engaged and will ensure that you have the best possible conditions. Your employment will be with us, while the work is performed at Miljöåkeriet.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for this position are to assist the driver in loading and unloading waste in a safe and efficient manner.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Is studying or has another main occupation of at least 50%.
  • Has a valid Category B driver's license.
  • Is socially outgoing and has good collaboration skills.
