Job Description

Responsibilities:

As a tester for LS, you will primarily work with the LS application, ICA Sweden's central system for logistics and warehouse management. In close collaboration with mainframe developers, software architects, and requirement owners, you play a crucial role in verifying the quality of both major and minor changes to LS.

You will be part of an agile development team and perform system testing on the functionality delivered by the team.

The tasks may involve everything from reviewing and analyzing requirements, planning tests, documenting test cases, to the actual execution of tests.

The results must then be documented in a test report, and any defects must be followed up on.

You will also work on testing integrations with other related and business-critical applications.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a tester in large/critical systems
• Experience with Jira / Xray
• Experience with test design, test cases, test reporting, and defect management
• SQL knowledge
• Experience working in an agile environment (Kanban)
• Fluent Swedish (spoken & written)
• Ability to collaborate with developers, designers, and requirement owners

Profile and Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a burning interest in IT. You may have a university-level education in data or computer science. You have worked as a tester for several years with similar large and critical systems. Experience in software development is a plus but not a requirement. You should also have an interest in logistics and the problem areas our users in the logistics warehouse management field face.

We use the tool Xray (Jira), where we design and create test cases.

Other examples of tools we use include SoapUI, wso2, xmlSpy, and Jira. You should also have knowledge of SQL. We use the tool DBVisualizer for SQL.

You should be quality-conscious and meticulous, and you maintain the user's perspective when working. You take responsibility for delivering the tasks assigned to the work team according to the Kanban methodology, while also having the ability to communicate about problems and solutions with other groups; other developers, designers, testers, and requirement owners.
