Job Description

As staff in the home care service, you play a vital role in direct contact with our users, providing personal care and support in daily life, including social interaction, assistance with personal hygiene, cleaning, medication administration, delegated tasks from nurses, and digital documentation. The work is carried out with great consideration for each user's individual needs.

Work is performed according to a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Most tasks are performed in the user's home, which you reach on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed the upper secondary nursing program, or alternatively, has experience from care work or other experience that the employer considers meritorious.

Must have a B driver's license and driving experience.

Must have good IT skills, meaning you are confident in using a computer/mobile phone to document, report incidents, and read email as required by the operations.

You must master the Swedish language to communicate both verbally and in writing with users, colleagues, and relatives as required by the operations.

The role of home care staff requires you to be able to structure your work and follow routines and implementation plans. At the same time, you must be self-assured, adaptable, and able to find solutions during the day, as things are constantly changing in our operations. You work with people who need our care, and it is important that you have the ability to empathize with others' situations, are a good listener, and show consideration and respect for those around you. We are a team working to ensure that users receive the care they are entitled to, and you will work together with colleagues to find solutions so that assignments are carried out in the best possible way.

To work in user- and patient-facing roles, you must provide a certificate of no criminal record (extract from the police register). You must request this extract yourself from the Swedish Police Authority using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record Register" available in the form archive on the police website.
