Brasserie Astrid is looking for an engaged and service-oriented waiter/waitress to join our serving team. We are a modern restaurant in the heart of the city with a strong focus on guest experience, sustainability, and a warm atmosphere. As a server, you will directly contribute to creating memorable visits for our guests through professional service, teamwork, and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities – Server

• Receive guests, present menus, and recommend dishes and drinks with a focus on quality and suitable pairings.
• Take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure correct timing and presentation in collaboration with the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain service protocols, table presentation, and cleanliness in the dining room throughout the service period.
• Handle payments and cash management according to established routines.
• Interpret and follow allergy and special diet requirements, communicating these clearly to the kitchen.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries or complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
• Participate in training, daily briefings, and the development of service routines together with the head waiter and colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 1–2 years of experience in restaurant service or similar customer-facing work is desirable.
• Knowledge of beverage skills and experience in recommending wine or other drinks is a plus.
• Experience with cash registers and digital reservation tools is desirable.
• Service-oriented, stress-resistant, and accustomed to working at a high pace.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility in working hours with the possibility to work evenings and weekends.
