Do you want to help create Sweden's best customer experience? We are now looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates for Coop Väst!

As a Sales Associate at Coop Lysekil, Mariedal, you are responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the company and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in the meeting with the customer and in the work of creating a pleasant and inspiring store.

We are looking for you who are service-oriented, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong will to learn and develop in your role.

Main tasks

  • Front store
  • Cashier duties

However, work also includes

  • Restocking and facing products
  • Creating sales-oriented displays
  • Handling complaints and returns according to routines
  • Self-control, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
  • Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
  • Following loss prevention and shrinkage routines
  • Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment

Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:

  • Product orders
  • Returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes
  • Handling CAO (Cash, Accounting, Operations)
  • Price tagging and campaign signage
  • Price changes
  • Opening and closing the store according to current routines

The position is a permanent employment of 24 hours/week with a start date of 2026-05-11 or as agreed. Working hours vary and are scheduled during daytime, evening, and weekends. We apply a probation period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Requirements

  • Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required
  • 18 years of age, as you must be able to work independently at the checkout
  • Punctuality

Merits:

  • Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
  • High school education.
  • Multilingualism.
  • Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling.
