Do you want to help create sustainable steel construction solutions? At LGL Construction, you will take on a broad and responsible role within a tightly knit team, participating in projects from initial idea to finished structure.

About the Role As a Calculation Designer, you will be involved in the entire development process of our steel construction projects, from the first concept to the final structure. You will be responsible for performing dimensioning, structural calculations, and preparing documentation for our designers, ensuring compliance with specific customer needs, company quality standards, and industry regulations. You will collaborate closely with sales, designers, production, and installation teams to jointly identify, develop, and deliver optimal solutions for our customers.

As a key member of the team, you will actively contribute to improving our work processes, drive development projects, and enhance the sustainability of our products. The position is based in Smålandsstenar.

Your Profile We believe you hold an engineering degree in construction, technology, or a related field, with several years of experience as a calculation engineer or designer. Experience in steel construction is a significant advantage, as is knowledge of various calculation software such as FEM-design, Idea Statica, and Frame Analysis. You must have fluent command of both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
