Job Description

The Industrial Civil business area is growing and is therefore looking for more driven constructors who want to develop within our exciting assignments.

Our structural engineers have extensive experience and broad competence, focusing on projects within the industry. We execute assignments in all stages, from early feasibility studies to construction documentation and implementation projects. AFRY strives to deliver holistic solutions. By leveraging the company's broad competence and collaborating with other parts of AFRY, we generate powerful and interesting engagements.

Currently, we have over 250 employees within the Industrial Civil business area. In the Mid Sweden region, we have offices in Norrköping, Linköping, Jönköping, Växjö, Hultsfred, Oskarshamn, Örebro, and Karlstad, employing both geotechnical and structural engineers as well as construction and project managers, making us a strong and established player in the field.

To meet the demand for our structural engineering services, we want to strengthen our team with more dedicated colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are at the beginning of your career in structural engineering and want to develop together with us at AFRY. You are a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or are on track to complete your education. You have basic knowledge in calculations, modeling, and the production of construction drawings, and are eager to build on these skills in practical projects.

As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and have a desire to learn. You work in a structured manner, pick up new knowledge easily, and appreciate collaborating with others. You have an interest in technical issues and are motivated by solving problems together with more experienced colleagues and our customers.

You thrive in teams, are happy to share your ideas, and contribute to a positive work environment. With support and guidance, you aim to take on greater responsibility in assignments and projects in the long term.

The role requires good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

A B-driver's license is an advantage.
