Your new job

In the role of tractor driver, you will work with the ongoing operations and maintenance of the municipality's streets, squares, and parks. You will be part of a team consisting of 12 colleagues. The work and assigned tasks are largely performed individually, while larger tasks are carried out in groups together with colleagues. In this role, you will interact with your direct manager, your team, and above all, the residents/visitors of the municipality, serving as the face of the organization. You will also have daily contact with the coordinator for the work team. Your work is based on a maintenance plan, which is managed via a digital system on a smartphone.

You are needed year-round. In the spring, you will participate in our gravel sweeping work, and in the winter, we clear snow and sand to facilitate travel for our residents. The position therefore includes standby duty and weekend cleaning.

The position is based at Verktygsvägen in the Ljungarum industrial area. If necessary, the workday may start at another depot within the municipality for a shorter or longer period.

Your qualifications

You, as a candidate, clearly have a strong interest in machinery and service-oriented work. The role of tractor driver requires that you can collaborate with others, as you will have contact with colleagues, your direct manager, and residents in the municipality. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating, with a willingness to help others and find solutions.

You are self-motivated in your work by completing your tasks, structuring your work efficiently, and driving your work processes forward. As a person, you see opportunities rather than obstacles in changes and adapt easily to changed circumstances. For you, it is natural to work with a focus on precision and quality.

Requirements

• Work experience with tractor operation/load carriers with various implements
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications

• Education within the vehicle sector
• Previous work experience from similar operations
• Category C driver's license
• Previous experience working with digital work tools such as smartphones
• Experience with repairs and operation of other machinery
