Job Responsibilities
Do you want to work to provide elderly people with a secure, meaningful, and dignified daily life? Then this job is for you.
Ljungby Municipality has 7 special care homes: Brunnsgården, Haraberget, Åsikten, Ljungsätra, Ljungberga, Åbrinken in Lagan, and Björkäng in Lidhult. The work here is both important and varied, and you will become a central part of the residents' lives.
As an employee, you work closely with the residents, supporting them in what is important for their well-being. This may include personal care, support during meals, assistance with mobility, medication management, and creating security and structure during the day. A large part of the work also involves contributing to an active and social daily life. This means encouraging and participating in activities, keeping company, conversing, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and supporting residents in maintaining their interests and abilities.
Qualifications
You always start from the resident's individual needs, wishes, and prerequisites.
We are therefore looking for someone with a genuine interest in people, who is responsible and has good teamwork skills. It is important that you are flexible, secure, and keep the needs of our residents in focus. You need to have a good command of the Swedish language, both in writing and speaking, as documentation is an important part of your work. The job requires that you can handle a computer and telephone as these are our work tools.
The work takes place in teams, where all roles are important. You are never alone and always have supportive colleagues by your side.
