As a Sales Associate at Stora Coop Borås, you are responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the company, working according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store environment.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we require good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and a strong willingness to learn and develop in your role.

Main Responsibilities

• Picking and packing goods for Coop Online

Other tasks may include:

• Restocking and facing products
• Creating attractive product displays
• Cashier duties
• Handling complaints and returns according to routines
• Self-inspection, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
• Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
• Following physical and waste management routines
• Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment

Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:

• Product ordering
• Returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes
• Handling CAO (Cashier/Ordering system)
• Price tagging and campaign signage
• Price changes
• Opening and closing the store according to current routines

The Position is a permanent employment (20 hours/week) with a start date of 2026-06-01 or by agreement. Working hours include day and evening shifts from Monday to Friday. Shifts may start as early as 06:00. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.

Requirements

• Good Swedish spoken and written is a requirement
• Must be 18 years old to work independently at the cash register
• Punctuality

Merits:

• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are an asset
• High school education
• Multilingualism
• Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling
