Service Housing Gustavsviksvägen
The service housing on Gustavsviksvägen offers support to adults with disabilities living in their own apartments. The operation works based on the individual's needs, with a focus on strengthening independence, participation, and security in daily life. Staff is available to support daily activities and social interaction.

LSS Group Home
An LSS group home is a residence with special services for people with disabilities who require more extensive support in their daily lives. Here, staff work around the clock to provide individually adapted support, with the goal of creating a secure, meaningful, and independent existence for each resident.

About the Role as Support Assistant

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually adapted support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.

Qualifications

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in an attentive way, and enjoy cooperating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
  • Experience working in healthcare and social care.
  • Upper secondary education such as Child and Leisure Care, Health and Social Care, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.
  • Class B driver's license.

Merits if you additionally have:

  • Experience with psychiatry, AKK (Advanced Communication Knowledge), and low-arousal interaction.
  • Experience working with complex support needs.

Employment Conditions

Employment Type: Temporary position as needed.
Employment Level: Part-time.
Working Hours: Day, evening, weekend. Sleeping duty and awake night shifts occur.
Start Date: By agreement; we view early start dates positively.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
