WeStaff Sweden is currently seeking an experienced Automation Technician/Engineer for an innovative industrial company with global delivery.

The company develops and manufactures advanced machinery exported worldwide. We are now looking for you to take a key role in automation, commissioning, and technical development.

About the role:

As a Senior Automation Technician/Engineer, you will work operationally on projects from concept to final installation. You will be responsible for programming, testing, and commissioning of machines, playing a central role in ensuring quality and functionality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with PLC programming and development
  • Programming and configuring HMI and drive systems
  • Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
  • Participating in technical projects and contributing expertise
  • Working closely with production and other departments
  • Identifying areas for improvement and driving development

Once you are up to speed, you will take ownership of projects and work directly with customers, including international travel.

Responsibilities in the role

  • Ensuring that systems and machines function according to requirements
  • Driving technical solutions and improvement work
  • Adhering to safety regulations and quality standards
  • Responsible for machine start-up at the customer site

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a solid technical background who thrives in a practical, solution-oriented role.

We prefer that you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in automation or similar
  • Experience with PLC programming
  • Experience with industrial control systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting in operational environments
  • Good computer skills
  • Fluent Swedish and English
  • Class B driver's license

  • Start: Immediate, subject to notice period
