About the position

Academic Work is recruiting production operators on behalf of FUCHS for their state-of-the-art production facility south of Stockholm, in Västerhaninge. FUCHS' new facility produces lubricants for the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish markets. They are now in need of extra production operators for the summer season.

This is a full-time consulting assignment during the summer with the possibility of extension to part-time work during the semesters. The assignment begins with a 4-week introduction and training period, after which you will replace regular staff during the summer months. Working hours are divided into two shifts: 07:00-16:00 and 15:15-23:15, working alternate weeks of days and evenings.

Responsibilities

At FUCHS, work shifts are divided into two:

• 07:00 - 15:30
• 15:15 - 23:15
• Follow recipes to prepare the lubricant blend. Once the blend is ready, take samples in the lab to get the blend approved.
• Operate machines to fill containers with the blend.
• You will receive a comprehensive introduction to learn the entire production flow. You will be trained by a mentor who will accompany you, monitor your progress, and adapt the introduction accordingly.

We are looking for you who

• Are studying a relevant program at a university/college and have at least 1 year left in your studies
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have good computer and system skills
• Have an interest in technology
• Hold a Forklift License (A1 and B1)

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in industrial and warehouse work, preferably within the process industry
