Quokka is now looking for a Microwave Engineer to work with Saab in Gothenburg. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and technical depth are central.
About the role
As a Microwave Engineer, you will become an important part of the team developing high-tech solutions in the radar field. You will work in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines and be involved throughout the entire development chain, from concept and requirements to design, verification, and implementation.
The role combines technical depth with collaboration across several competence areas, where you contribute to shaping the radar and sensor systems of the future.
This is a role for you who want to work closely with technology and at the same time influence how advanced systems are developed in practice.
Who are you?

You are communicative, structured, and find it easy to collaborate with other disciplines. You are motivated by solving complex problems and contributing to solutions that maintain high technical quality. You speak fluent Swedish and hold Swedish citizenship.
Your main areas of responsibility
- Conduct concept studies and investigations of future solutions and architectures
- Participate in requirement breakdown and system understanding
- Specify microwave constructions and subsystems
- Design sub-blocks and perform detailed design in collaboration with other technical areas
- Verify and analyze performance
- Prepare production documentation and support implementation in radar antennas
Experience we would like you to have
- Master's degree in electronics, technical physics, or equivalent experience
- Experience in electronic design and/or testing
- Interest or experience in RF and microwave technology is an asset
- Ability to work in teams and contribute to cross-functional collaborations
- Good analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Good communication skills
