Your assignment with us

As a District Economist, you are a key person in the district, driving our economic issues forward with a steady hand. You support production and managers in their daily work and contribute to increasing the understanding of economics within the organization. The tasks are varied and provide broad insight into the operations.

In this role, you will support and assist district and project managers based on needs that arise over time. You will be employed in one of our business units (District Infra) and manage the economy for four business units with a combined estimated turnover of approximately 800 million SEK in 2026. You will work closely with the respective district manager and our regional controller.

The tasks are varied and provide broad insight into the operations. You will, among other things, work with:

• Forecasting, budgeting, and closing work
• Reconciliation and follow-up of projects
• Day-to-day bookkeeping
• Follow-up and allocation of costs between four units
• Support to the business regarding economic questions
• Supporting project and production managers with reconciliations, follow-ups, payment plans, and invoicing
• Technical support in our economic systems

You bring several years of experience in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Your working style is characterized by order, structure, and the ability to follow things through to completion. You find it easy to understand the business and comprehend how economic relationships affect the whole. This enables you to translate complex information into clear and useful economic data for others.

Requirements for the position:

• At least 3 years of experience in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting and closing
• Knowledge and understanding of project economics
• Master's degree in Economics or equivalent education
• Very good skills in Excel
• Class B driver's license
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Previous experience with business intelligence systems is an asset.
