What does an Area Manager do?
As an Area Manager, you are the link between our staff and our customers, with a clear responsibility to ensure both have a great experience – every day. You are a key person in the operation, ensuring everything runs smoothly in your area, from how employees feel and perform to how customers experience our delivery.
In preparation for the summer, we have two vacancies with different focuses for the role:
Area Manager – Personnel
Here, the focus is on employees and operational leadership. You allocate work in your area, maintain close dialogue with the team, and actively work with follow-up and development. The role also includes administration related to personnel management and handling any personnel matters.
Your primary focus is to ensure that your employees are happy, developing, and have the right conditions to deliver world-class customer service. You lead, coach, and follow up on your team, work with resource planning and scheduling, and ensure that staffing is always optimized.
Your working hours are 07:00-16:00, Monday to Friday.
Area Manager – Customer
Here, your main focus is on our customers and creating the best possible customer experience. You work with clear customer responsibility, building relationships, following up on deliveries, and ensuring that every customer is satisfied.
The role involves daily contact via phone and email, where you handle incoming matters in a professional and solution-oriented manner. You work proactively with customer care, identify needs, follow up on quality, and contribute to developing the business in your area through service, business thinking, and relationship building.
Your working hours are 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is studying and wants a merit-building summer job where you can develop within either personnel management or customer service.
You are a person who thrives in a role with many points of contact and likes to take responsibility. You find it easy to build trust, are solution-oriented in your way of working, and are motivated by getting things to work – both for people and in processes. At the same time, you are structured, communicative, and confident in handling various types of situations in a fast-paced environment.
