About the role

In the role of Accounting Accountant, you will act as a financial partner to the business. You are responsible for ensuring correct and efficient accounting processes for the Swedish operations, with a strong focus on quality, analysis, and control. You will work closely with colleagues in the finance team and other departments.

Responsibilities

The role involves a broad spectrum of accounting tasks, from ongoing bookkeeping to participating in the preparation of financial statements and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

• Preparation of internal and external financial reports, as well as handling VAT and employer declarations and SCB reporting.
• Participate in the annual report and serve as the main contact for external auditors during the year-end closing.
• Conduct financial analyses and investigations to ensure high data quality.
• Drive improvement work within accounting and ensure that routines are documented and up-to-date.
• Provide financial support to other departments and act as backup when needed within customer and supplier receivables.

We are looking for you who

• Have at least 3 years of upper secondary education or equivalent competence acquired in other ways.
• Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in qualified accounting work.
• Have good knowledge of year-end closing work, declarations, and VAT.
• Are confident working with system support and digital solutions.
• Communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is an asset if you have

• Post-secondary education in economics or equivalent.
• Previous work in international organizations or a regulatorily complex environment.
