Job Description

As a restaurant assistant at Rasta, you are a vital part of the team, ensuring our guests have a pleasant experience. You will work in a varied and service-oriented environment, interacting with guests, handling food and beverages, and contributing to a clean and welcoming restaurant. The pace can be fast, but with the right attitude and good teamwork, we create a welcoming atmosphere where both guests and colleagues thrive.

Responsibilities

• The role of Restaurant Assistant primarily involves preparing sandwiches and salads, serving the daily special, light à la carte cooking, and cashier duties.

• Secondary tasks typical of a restaurant environment, such as cleaning and dishwashing, are also part of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be 20 years or older – To be responsible for serving, you must be at least 20 years old.

• Service-oriented mindset – Ability to treat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Stress resistance & flexibility – The restaurant environment can be hectic, especially during peak hours.

• Basic cashier skills – Experience with cash register systems and payment handling is an advantage.

• Previous restaurant experience – Experience in the restaurant and fast-food industry is a significant plus.
