Our emergency department in Gällivare handles approximately 10,000 visits annually and offers a unique opportunity to work fully as an emergency physician through a streamlined, non-hierarchical flow. You will have independent responsibility for the flow, supported by younger junior colleagues whom you will also supervise, with backing from other specialists at the hospital.

We are looking for

We are seeking a specialist physician in emergency medicine. Experience working as a head physician is an asset for this position.

You work in a structured manner, creating order and clarity in your work. In this role, you use your leadership in a safe and engaging way, while maintaining stability even under high workload or change. You have a strong problem-solving ability and seek constructive ways forward. Furthermore, you are decisive and take responsibility for driving the work forward when needed.

This is what you will work with

You will work as an emergency physician in a streamlined flow with the help of younger colleagues. You will handle all patients arriving at the emergency department. You will serve as our head physician with the highest level of competence. Other specialists in other fields are on standby at home during nights and evenings.

Information about the position

We offer permanent or hourly employment, full-time or part-time. Start date as soon as possible by mutual agreement.

Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
