About the Role

As a Fresh Produce Coach, you will take on a central and developmental role focused on strengthening and developing our stores' fresh produce departments – from manual delicatessen and fish to meat, ready meals, and catering. You will work closely with our stores, support their business, and ensure our customers are met with a selling and inspiring fresh produce environment.

You will become an important part of our network, collaborating both internally at Coop Väst and centrally with Coop Sweden AB. The role also includes responsibility for training our employees, both digitally and on-site in stores, as well as ensuring clear and relevant communication to the organization.

The position is based at the support office at Stora Coop Bäckebol, with travel within the region required.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Develop and optimize the assortment in our manual delicatessen counters in close collaboration with stores and the category organization.
• Ensure profitable sales with a focus on customer benefit and quality.
• Be responsible for updating and developing our catering pages.
• Create conditions for an attractive, selling, and inspiring fresh produce environment.
• Conduct training and workshops – both on-site and digitally – in areas such as sales, techniques, and concepts.
• Coach and motivate store employees to strengthen sales and customer interactions.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, a fast pace, and working both strategically and operationally.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university degree or equivalent competence.
• Has extensive experience in retail, including work with sales, fresh produce, and finance.
• Has documented good results with personal accountability.
• Has several years of leadership experience with a focus on fresh produce.
• Is accustomed to working with budgets, follow-ups, and analysis.
• Has excellent computer skills – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required (SAP is a merit).
• Is communicative, responsive, and business-oriented in your appearance.

You are a person who creates energy around you, sees opportunities in collaborations, and enjoys being on the ground where things happen. You are structured, methodical, and have the ability to see the big picture – while not hesitating to take your own initiatives to drive sales and development.
