Do you want to work in a key role where you are responsible for the operation, development, and documentation of the power grid's technical systems? We are currently seeking an engaged and analytical Electrical Power Engineer who wants to help ensure stable and safe power grid operations. With us, you will have a varied role involving technical analysis, system responsibility, and operational management, in close collaboration with colleagues in operations and maintenance.
Your Daily Routine
In the role of Electrical Power Engineer, you will work with both technical systems and operational management related to the power grid. You have an important responsibility for our remote control and documentation systems and contribute with analyses and calculations that develop and secure the grid's functionality.
Your tasks include, among others:
Act as system owner for remote control systems
Act as system owner for documentation systems
Manage operational orders and operational management of the power grid
Document completed work in Trimble NIS
Update and manage operational maps and schedules
Conduct investigations and calculations related to the power grid
Ensure that work complies with the company's policies, routines, and guidelines
Work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and electrical safety requirements
Participate in on-call duty
Handle purchases according to the current approval regulations and approve supplier invoices
You will report to the Head of Operations & Maintenance (CDU) and collaborate closely with other functions within the organization.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a technical interest who thrives in a role where structure, analysis, and responsibility are central parts of the work. You have the ability to see the big picture in complex systems while working methodically and meticulously with the details.
We believe you have:
Experience from similar tasks within power grids or the energy industry
Good computer skills
University education in electrical power, electrical power engineering, or equivalent
