Mycronic is a global high-tech company that has been driving the electronics industry forward for over 50 years. We continue to grow and support customers across an increasing number of industries, and what we do shapes the technologies that define future society, how we live our lives today – and tomorrow. Now we are looking for more people who want to strengthen our engaged and driven teams, which are at the forefront of technology. With us, you work in an open, flexible, and collaborative environment where you get to work closely with leading experts and take on challenging projects that turn ideas into reality and bring tomorrow's electronics to life. Welcome to Mycronic!

About the role

Mycronic is a Swedish global high-tech company that both develops and manufactures machines for electronics manufacturing. In this role, you will primarily work on testing Mycronic's "Jet Printer," a machine used in the manufacturing of circuit boards to apply very small and precise amounts of solder paste or fluids onto circuit boards before components are mounted. You will thus work with machines of very high technical complexity.

You will belong to a small team consisting of a few testers, a mechanical designer, a chemist, and your immediate supervisor. The role is experimental and hands-on, where you work in production and lab environments running tests on machines, analyzing data, and optimizing parameters to improve precision, repeatability, and quality in the process.

You are offered

  • A company that considers it a given that you will have your voice heard, engage, and contribute with your ideas and mindset.
  • At Mycronic, people from different parts of the world, of different ages, and with different experiences work together, which they see as a strength.
  • Here you become part of a company with an open corporate culture where people help and trust each other. For Mycronic, diversity is not just a competitive advantage but also an important piece of the puzzle for an innovative and rewarding work environment.
  • A mentor to support you during your first period – We believe this will give you good conditions to get into your new role and contribute to your development within the company.

Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer & Technical Coordinator, you are responsible for the entire test process, its continuous development, and ensuring test projects are completed within set deadlines. In addition to conducting tests yourself, you will also be responsible for leading, supporting, and planning the work for other test engineers and helping them prioritize in their daily work.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Plan, conduct, and analyze experimental tests of Mycronic's Jet Printer machines where you systematically adjust parameters, collect test data, and drive the test process forward in an iterative development cycle.
  • Interpret and analyze test results to identify patterns, formulate hypotheses, and define the next round of tests.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, specialists, and internal functions, and contribute test insights in dialogues regarding the development and delivery of Mycronic's technology.
  • Present test results and insights with the team so that you can jointly decide on the next technical step and develop the test process.
  • Support and maintain dialogue with customers and Mycronic's internal organization regarding both new and ongoing product deliveries.
  • Contribute to the development of Mycronic's test and analysis tools.

We are looking for you who

This is a role for you with experience and interest in hardware and software testing and who enjoys working diligently and hands-on in production and lab environments. You have good collaboration skills and a structured approach and like to share your knowledge and experiences with others. Motivate well in your application why you are interested!

In addition, you have..

  • A university or master's degree in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, or similar.
  • Experience in experimental hardware testing of machines, systems, or components, where you have planned, conducted, and analyzed tests to optimize performance, precision, and repeatability.
  • Experience in interpreting data to optimize machine or system performance.
  • Knowledge in programming (e.g., MATLAB) to improve analysis or test tools.
  • Very good English skills.

We consider it an asset if you have…

  • Knowledge of Swedish.
