We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator for our client, a well-established company in the logistics and transport industry. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with international contacts and a high degree of personal responsibility.
About the Role
Our client is an international player in logistics and transport solutions with a strong presence in the Nordic region. They offer efficient and sustainable transport and warehousing solutions, working closely with their customers to create long-term and value-creating partnerships.
In the role of Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily management of customer transport flows. You will work through the entire chain – from booking to delivery and further to invoicing – ensuring that everything takes place according to agreed routines and with high quality. You will maintain close dialogue with both customers and suppliers, as well as actively work on follow-ups regarding quality and economics. The role also involves contributing to the development of working methods and processes in line with the business's goals and KPIs.
The role begins as a consulting assignment with an expectation of being able to work full-time during the summer. There are good chances for extension as the client is growing. The work is primarily carried out on-site at the office during office hours.

Responsibilities
- Handle daily contact with customers regarding bookings, traffic planning, and exceptions
- Coordinate and follow up on transports from start to delivery
- Maintain ongoing contact with subcontractors and ensure delivery according to contract
- Work with customs handling and related administration
- Follow up on quality and economics related to assignments
- Handle exceptions and take corrective actions
- Participate in development and production meetings
- Prepare spot prices upon request
- Contribute to upselling and the development of customer relationships
We are looking for you who
- Have 1–3 years of experience working in forwarding or transport
- Have a good understanding of logistics flows and transport processes
- Have good system skills and experience working in business systems such as MS Office
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
- Have an understanding of the general operational workflow
- Have an understanding of customer relationships and commercial focus
- Are punctual, reliable, and meticulous
- Are stress-resistant, a team player, and service-oriented
- Are quality-focused with an understanding of economics
It is an advantage if you have
- Good IT skills in CarLo
