About the Company

As part of Finja, we focus on masonry and plastered construction and are a nationwide supplier of building materials with an extensive product range. Through a broad network of qualified resellers, we provide a comprehensive range of dry mortars for applications such as masonry, plastering, casting, and repair. Several of our mortars are now available in durable plastic bags.

We offer concept solutions for masonry construction, including stable and well-insulated blocks, floor leveling for all occasions, reliable fixing and grouting products, high-quality expanded polystyrene insulation boards, base elements for energy-efficient and sustainable substructures, and well-proven facade plaster systems. In addition, we have a wide range of other concrete products, for example for walls.

All our facilities are located in Sweden. Our production takes place close to our market, which means we are accessible and can offer fast, safe, and secure deliveries. Currently, we have approximately 140 employees and aim to generate a turnover of one billion SEK.

We are now looking for a mechanic for our factory facility outside Hässleholm. In the recruitment process, we are collaborating with Wikan Personal.

Your Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues in mechanical maintenance, you will work in an environment characterized by engagement, good camaraderie, and opportunities for variety in your work. You will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs at the factories in the area where we manufacture various products in concrete and expanded polystyrene.

The tasks are varied and can range from heavy mechanics, welding, and modification/adaptation of production equipment to smaller point interventions such as replacing bearings, sensors, etc. in machines.

You will work independently or in small teams.

Your Background/Qualifications

You likely have a background as a welder, blacksmith, or maintenance mechanic in a process or manufacturing industry. Your education should be in industrial or mechanical engineering, or you have acquired your skills through work. You have experience with mechanics, hydraulics, and welding.

You may be at the beginning of your career and not meet all the criteria above, but for a person with the right interest and aptitude for the tasks, Finja Betong is prepared to invest in a slightly longer training period.

We require good computer skills and a B-class driver's license. A forklift license is an asset, as is previous experience working in a maintenance system.

As a person, you are service-oriented and passionate about problem-solving. You have a solid interest in machinery and enjoy a varied and sometimes unpredictable daily routine. You have a good sense of order and take pride in performing your tasks with high quality. You enjoy working in a team and want to contribute to a good working climate.

Information and Contact

The work is scheduled during the day at Finja Betong's factory area outside Hässleholm. Tasks are performed both indoors and outdoors. The position is initially a temporary assignment via Wikan Personal, intended to transition into a permanent position with Finja Betong.
