Personal assistance is a service provided under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You uphold the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and identify what needs to be done. As a person, you are calm, patient, and able to work in a motivating way. We prefer female applicants for this position, but great weight will be placed on personal suitability.

We are now looking for someone who:

• wants to work for a woman in her 60s living in Örebro

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has previous experience in the healthcare profession

• has previous experience with hoists, for example floor hoists

• is a non-smoker

It is also an asset if you:

• have medication delegation from Örebro Municipality

• have previous experience with wound dressing

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of approximately 90%. Work shifts will vary during weekdays and every other weekend (even weeks). Working hours are scheduled either from 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00, with on-call duty from 00:00-06:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are provided according to collective agreements.

Start date immediately or as soon as possible by agreement.

Being employed at Humana
