Your new job

Your tasks involve independent work during the night, where you are responsible for personal care, daily activities, and medication management by delegation. You will also create small but meaningful moments of security and social support. Your work is individualized, with the citizen at the center, aiming to provide residents with the most meaningful life possible based on their conditions, needs, and wishes.

You will also provide care in the end-of-life phase and palliative care. Documentation and reporting are a natural part of the work and contribute to safe and quality-assured care.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues, coordinators, unit managers, and licensed staff. Contact with relatives is, of course, also an important part of your work.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with extensive experience in the healthcare and social care sector. Experience with night shifts is an asset.

You need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the job involves a lot of contact with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as written documentation. You have good computer skills and feel comfortable using digital tools for documentation.

The job also requires physical mobility, as situations arise that cannot be predicted and must be solved in a way adapted to the situation.

Trädgården elderly care home is part of the elderly care in Jönköping Municipality and is located in the central parts of Huskvarna, close to Lake Vättern, green areas, and public transport. The care home consists of a total of eight units, two of which are dementia units, one short-term unit, and five units for special housing.

Good to know

The recruitment concerns a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours are scheduled for night and evening, both weekdays and weekends. An offer of employment at another unit may be relevant.

Before employment begins and an employment contract is signed, you who are offered the position will first meet Municipal Health Services to undergo a health check. This health check is a requirement in the recruitment for all our night positions.
