The Role of a Nurse at the Dialysis Clinic

Healthcare Unit F is an outpatient clinic with 24 home dialysis stations, focusing on utilizing the patient's ability for self-care. Our goal is to create engaged patients who, despite chronic illness, can lead an active life with good quality of life.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in building good and safe patient relationships. We are seeking someone who can complement our team, with a focus on personal suitability. Whether you are a newly graduated nurse or an experienced professional with solid experience, you can contribute to our operations.

We expect you to have a drive to develop and a desire to contribute to the development of our operations. You should be communicative, enjoy technology, possess good collaboration skills, and maintain a positive attitude in your work. Since you will work in close collaboration with the patient, we believe it is important that you are skilled in relationship building to ensure the patient feels safe and involved in their treatment.

The unit is an outpatient clinic with 24 home dialysis stations. We work to increase patient participation, allowing patients to manage all or part of their treatment themselves based on their ability and wishes.

• As a newly hired nurse, you will receive a comprehensive 6-week introduction with 2 experienced dialysis nurses to gradually become confident in both tasks and technology.
• During a shift, you are responsible for 3 patients, creating good conditions for patient safety and high quality care.
• You will work alongside a colleague, as we have 2 nurses per ward, providing continuous support, collaboration, and security in daily work.
• You will have specific nursing responsibility for a few patients and their long-term planning and treatment.
• As a nurse with us, you will have a technical, stimulating, and independent job, but you will never be alone.

Working Hours and Schedule:
Working hours are 06:45–15:30 or 11:30–19:30, and you will work 2 Saturdays out of 5. The unit is closed on Sundays.
Hemodialysis is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 06:45–19:30, and Tuesday, Thursday from 06:45–15:30, and Saturday from 06:45–15:00.
We apply a wish-schedule system.

Employment Terms:
The position is a permanent employment, and you can choose to work 80–100%. Start date according to agreement.
If you are newly educated, you will also participate in our advanced introduction program (RIU) for newly graduated nurses, which runs during your first year with us.
