The Role of a Nurse at the Dialysis Unit

Healthcare Unit F is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations, focusing on utilizing the patient's ability for self-care. The goal is to create involved patients who, despite chronic illness, can lead an active life with good quality of life.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in building good and secure patient relationships. We are looking for someone who can complement our team, with a focus on personal suitability. Whether you are a newly graduated nurse new to the role or an experienced nurse with solid experience, you can contribute to our operations.

We see that you as an applicant have a drive to develop and want to contribute to the development of the operation. You are communicative, like technology, have good collaboration skills, and have a positive attitude in your work. Since you will work in close collaboration with the patient, we think it is important that you are good at relationship building to make the patient feel secure and involved in the treatment.

The healthcare unit is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations. We work to increase patient involvement, where the patient, according to their own ability and wishes, can manage all or part of their treatment themselves.

• As a newly hired nurse, you will receive a thorough introduction over 6 weeks with 2 experienced dialysis nurses to gradually become secure in both tasks and technology.
• During a work shift, you are responsible for 3 patients, which creates good conditions for patient-safe care and high quality.
• You work together with a colleague as we have 2 nurses per ward, which provides continuous support, collaboration, and security in daily work.
• You will have a specific nursing responsibility for a few patients and their long-term planning and treatment.
• As a nurse with us, you get technical, stimulating, and independent work but are never alone.

Working Hours and Employment Conditions

Working hours are 06:45–15:30 or 11:30–19:30, and you work 2 Saturdays out of 5. The healthcare unit is closed on Sundays. Hemodialysis is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:45–19:30, and Tuesday, Thursday from 6:45–15:30, and Saturday from 6:45–15:00.

We apply a wish schedule. The position is a permanent employment, and you can choose to work 80–100%. Start date according to agreement.

If you are newly educated, you will also participate in our in-depth introduction program (RIU) for newly graduated nurses, which takes place during your first year with us.
