Stora Coop Lund is looking for a new sales associate to join our wonderful team!

At Coop, we don't just deliver great products at great prices; we see ourselves a bit like a Kinder Surprise egg. We always deliver something exciting to our customers, something to play with (mainly in the kitchen, but we have other things too), and of course, we have plenty of chocolate and other treats. Not only that, but our customers receive top-class service from our staff.

Working as a sales associate at Coop is a highly varied job. You will handle sales, picking goods, merchandising, ordering, and much, much more.

Your responsibilities as a sales associate include:

• Ensuring shelves are always fronted and well-stocked.
• Ensuring all products have the correct prices.
• Handling customer complaints and feedback according to guidelines in a professional manner.
• Keeping the store clean and attractive.

This is a temporary position of 30 hours per week until August 31st, with the possibility of extension. Your working hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience and competence in retail sales (merit).
• Has experience with butchery/meat cutting.
• Has experience and competence in service occupations (merit).
• Is multilingual and has experience/interest in different cultures (merit).

Most importantly, we want you to be genuinely interested in food, service, and sales. You should enjoy working in a group and actively contribute to creating a good working climate. We want you to have a strong sense of initiative and positive energy that is contagious, see the customer's needs, and with pride and joy deliver the industry's best customer service. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and optimize both the business and yourself. We won't hide the fact that it can be a stressful job at times, so it is important that you enjoy working at a fast pace and can maintain your calm and smile even in stressful situations. Together with your colleagues, you become the face of the store, and for you, the customer is always number one.
