Experienced Care Assistants Wanted for New Pool Services in Eskilstuna

We are looking for an experienced and reliable care assistant who seeks a varied job with rapid transitions, where your focus is on the people we exist to serve.

In line with Eskilstuna Municipality's goals to ensure continuity, quality, and stable staffing within home care and all our special housing facilities, we are launching two new pool operations. One operation supports all special housing facilities (elderly homes) around Eskilstuna, and one supports all home care areas.

As a permanent care assistant, you will work full-time. You will replace regular staff during sudden or planned illness, vacation, or other absences. Through your flexible approach, you and your colleagues contribute to ensuring that the elderly receive secure care even when regular staff is absent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you work in a motivating and supportive manner, providing our users with a meaningful, secure, and active daily life. You provide support and services based on each individual's needs. You collaborate with other staff, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The role includes delegation, personal care, and documentation. We work with digital methods where you document in the Viva journal system and sign completed work in Appva.

You have a basic schedule, but it can change with very short notice. Changes concern both working hours and workplaces. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an educated, experienced care assistant who feels secure in your professional role. Your experience of working with various users with different care needs is a significant advantage. As a person, you are responsible with a focus on the task at hand. You find it easy to communicate and know that collaboration is the key to success. Delegation is part of your assignment, and you must also hold a B-class driver's license.

You thrive in a work environment where conditions change rapidly. Therefore, you are adaptable and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and environments. In this role, you will meet many different individuals every week and new colleagues at the various units you are placed at. You are used to working independently and being able to obtain instructions, both written and verbal. As a person, you are secure, stable, and calm with the ability to see what needs to be done.

We will use a language test in this recruitment. A current police clearance certificate must be presented prior to employment.

A pool supplement is added to the salary as the position requires high flexibility from you as an employee.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent.
Working hours: Scheduled. Days, evenings, and weekends. For the pool for special housing, night shifts are also available.
