About Us

The Palliative Department, a small workplace with great opportunities. Here, high-quality specialized palliative care is provided with the patient in focus. Patients with various diagnoses come to us, all cared for in the end stages of life when cure for the illness is no longer possible. We have 10 places, all in private single rooms.

The Palliative Department belongs to the medical clinic, where we work in teams, in close collaboration between all professions. Within the organization, there is a care leader who works closely with operational improvements within our specialty area. We have a close collaboration with the SSIH operation, which takes care of palliative patients who are cared for at home.

We are now looking for someone who has interest, commitment, and motivation to help provide high-quality palliative care, with a desire to “go the extra mile” for the patient.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse in our department, you are part of a team around the patient. The working method allows for good care based on a holistic view with the patient at the center. The main purpose of the work is good symptom relief and well-being for the patient and good support for relatives.

As a nurse with us, you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Your work requires good collaboration with other professions, but also the courage to work independently and make decisions to some extent.

Your Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed nurse, with a great interest in caring for and meeting patients and relatives. You preferably have several years of professional experience and a good ethical sense.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, attentive, and accustomed to establishing contacts with patients and relatives. You have good collaboration and planning skills and can view a situation from different perspectives. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type

Permanent employment full-time or as agreed, with start date as agreed.
