Our Operations

With us, you become part of a modern and dynamic endoscopy operation with both planned and acute care. We work with gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and PEG placement, where screening and standardized care pathways (SVF) are a natural part of our work.

We offer a wide variety of examinations and treatments, including:

Sampling and advanced diagnostics
Polyp removal
Dilations
Stent placement
Treatment of esophageal varices
Acute endoscopic interventions

With us, you will have the opportunity to work at a high medical pace with varied tasks, while developing your competence in both planned and acute endoscopy. No two days are alike – and you will become an important part of creating safe and quality care for our patients.

Your Tasks

With us, you will have a varied and developing role where you:

Prepare, assist, and provide aftercare for patients before, during, and after examinations and treatments
Assist with endoscopic examinations and treatments
Participate in surgeries (scopes and ERCP)
Take samples in connection with examinations
Have the opportunity to work as a coordinator in the operation
Insert IVs and administer medication in connection with examinations
Receive training in medical technology equipment

Your Competence

We are looking for you who:

Are a trained assistant nurse with approved courses in health and care 1 and 2 (formerly emergency care), or equivalent
Have a professional certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate of permanent employment as an assistant nurse as of July 1, 2023
Have good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to level C1
Enjoy teamwork and have good collaborative skills

It is an asset if you have experience from outpatient care and/or emergency care.
