KSU, Kärnkraftsäkerhet och Utbildning AB, ensures the competence of Swedish nuclear power plant personnel through both theoretical training and practical exercises in full-scale simulators. Operations are conducted from our headquarters in Nyköping and from our training facilities located close to the nuclear power plants in Forsmark, Oskarshamn, and Ringhals. KSU, with approximately 180 employees, is jointly owned by Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, OKG AB, and Ringhals AB, and is part of the Vattenfall Group, Business Unit Vattenfall Power Solutions (VPS).

About the Role

Who are we at KSU? Our primary mission is to train the operational and maintenance staff of Swedish nuclear power plants.

Today, we contribute to the safe and stable operation of nuclear power and, together with our customers, create the training of the future. Our training is conducted in our full-scale simulator as well as in modern, flexible learning environments, driven by our passion and curiosity for new technology.

We are now looking for a Software Developer who wants to help develop next-generation digital solutions within a growing and innovative organization.

About the Job

As a Software Developer, you will become part of a small, dynamic team where collaboration and innovation are central. You will work on developing, testing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions that meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

Your main responsibilities as a Software Developer in an agile environment include:

• Developing and further developing software solutions
• Testing, implementing, and maintaining systems and products
• Working with databases, network communication, and system integration
• Contributing to continuous improvements of existing solutions
• Creating documentation, manuals, and supporting users

Possible locations are where KSU has training sites, near the three nuclear power plants in Forsmark, Ringhals, and Oskarshamn. KSU's headquarters is in Nyköping, but other locations can be discussed.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, and thrives in an environment where not all answers are given from the start.

We are looking for you if you:

• Have a few years of experience working as a software developer
• Have knowledge in, for example, JavaScript, C#, or Python
• Have experience with the implementation, configuration, and application of AI models
• Have extensive experience working in teams and view Git as a hygiene factor
• Have a relevant university or engineering degree in IT/data
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Network communication and security
• Authentication and secure system solutions
• 3D graphics, game engines, or CAD

As a person, you are:

• Analytical and solution-oriented
• Structured with a focus on improvement
• Comfortable working in uncertainty and driving work forward
