We are looking for a curious and driven IT technician to join our support team! With us, you will work with advanced troubleshooting, modern platforms, and an organization that values both technology and people. Together, we support the municipality's operations in their digitalization and ensure a stable and modern IT environment.

As an IT technician within Digital Workplace and Support, you will work in a team of about 8 colleagues and have close collaboration with other departments in IT and digitalization. You will work both operationally, tactically, and strategically. We have embarked on a journey towards Microsoft 365, which means new conditions and working methods where you will be an important part of the change journey ahead.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Manage and follow up on cases according to the ITIL framework.
• Ensure effective management of computers, printers, AV equipment, and other peripherals.
• Package and perform lifecycle management of software for clients.
• Install, configure, and perform lifecycle management of IT equipment and systems.
• Document actions, solutions, and improvement suggestions in the case management system.
• Be the technical contact person for selected systems and tools.
• Participate in and, if necessary, lead technical projects.
• Actively contribute to the continuous development of routines and processes.

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education focused on IT or equivalent relevant work experience and competence in the field that we at Västervik Municipality consider equivalent.

You have at least a few years of experience in IT support and good technical competence in client management, Windows environments, and hardware. You also have a good understanding of incident and problem management as well as change enablement. For this position, you also need to have a B driver's license.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Intune, Zenworks, and cloud services such as Azure.
• Experience working according to ITIL processes.

You are systematic in your work approach with the ability to take initiative, be flexible, see opportunities, and achieve results. It is important that you are curious and unpretentious with a strong service mindset. The work involves many contacts between IT and other operations within the municipal group, which requires you to be customer-focused, skilled at building good relationships, and able to communicate and convey messages clearly.

You are a team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing your knowledge, while also having the ability to take your own initiative and drive your work forward. It is important that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English.
