Senior Digital Development Leader/Epic Owner
Are you passionate about digital development that makes a difference and want to make a tangible impact on society? Do you have extensive experience in driving complex digital development initiatives in an agile environment? Then this could be the role for you.
About the Position
With us, you will be involved in developing the future of e-health solutions. We work according to an agile methodology based on SAFe, where development is driven in cross-functional teams including investigators, solution architects, developers, testers, and requirements analysts. In the role of senior digital development leader/epic owner, you will lead and coordinate initiatives that span multiple teams and trains, ensuring progress from idea and design to reporting, delivery, and communication. The work often involves close collaboration with other authorities, regions, healthcare providers, and users.
Within the unit Mission, investigators work with government assignments, investigations, and referrals – and you will play a crucial role in leading these efforts forward with a focus on digital development.
The Mission unit belongs to the Department of Pharmaceuticals, which is responsible for some of Sweden's most critical digital services for safe and effective medication management. Here, we develop and manage national e-health services for healthcare, pharmacies, and residents, including:
- National Medication List
- Medication Check
- Pharmacological Analysis
- Prescription Check
The department works for good user experience, high availability, and sustainable digital solutions. With us, you will have the opportunity to influence both technology and working methods in a growing organization with significant social responsibility.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident and accustomed to taking responsibility for your tasks, works in a structured manner, and can drive your processes forward. You enjoy combining structure with an agile approach and thrive in a role where you create order and clarity in complex issues and provide direction in development initiatives with many stakeholders.
You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have an easy time seeing the big picture and consequences. As a person, you are also pedagogical and relationship-building, establishing trust through clear communication and attentiveness.
You enjoy varying tempos, when assignments span both technical and operational issues, and when you can be a cohesive force in collaboration. You see opportunities in new ideas and drive and implement change. In short: you are someone who makes things happen – in a structured, inclusive, and sustainable way.
We are looking for someone who has:
- relevant academic education, for example in IT, computer science, or another relevant field
- documented experience leading complex digital development in an agile environment
- excellent ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish.
It is advantageous for the position if you have:
- certification or advanced competence in agile frameworks, e.g., SAFe or Scrum, or project management (Prince2, IPMA, PPS)
- experience in e-health, the pharmaceutical field, or national digital services
- experience in project management, change management, and implementation of digital solutions
- experience leading collaboration with many stakeholders such as regions, authorities, or suppliers.
What Do We Offer?
The E-health Agency is a growing authority, and we drive the development of national digital infrastructure within health, care, and welfare. We create conditions for digital services and solutions for both individuals and professionals in healthcare, pharmacies, and social services.
