About the role

At our organization, you will work in a modern, agile environment where collaboration and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will help set the direction for our technical platform – from high-level architecture to concrete solutions in daily operations.

You will work closely with development teams and business units to:

• design robust, scalable, and secure architecture solutions
• translate business needs into technical requirements
• guide teams in technical decisions and implementation
• ensure that architecture principles and guidelines are followed

You will have significant influence over our platform – a cornerstone for digital services that make a real difference for patients, healthcare staff, and society at large.

The Digital Strategy and Platform department is responsible for the agency's common digital foundation, IT strategy, and portfolio management. We drive the development of national digital infrastructure within health, care, and social services – a mission that is both socially important and technically challenging.

About you

We are looking for someone with strong collaborative skills who thrives when working with others. It is a given that you take responsibility for your own work and adapt easily to the situation at hand. You have a strategic way of working but can also dive into details when required, naturally switching between a holistic and detailed perspective. We also value strong analytical skills and the ability to identify long-term, sustainable solutions in complex contexts. Furthermore, you are proactive in initiating activities to achieve set goals.

We are looking for someone who has:

• an academic degree in IT or equivalent work experience
• several years of experience in infrastructure and platform architecture
• experience in developing technical architecture solutions and integration architecture
• experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments
• excellent communication skills in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• a background in software development or system design
• experience from healthcare or other regulated industries
• experience with GitOps and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
