About the Position
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration's Logistics Division (TVK Log) is seeking a substitute Controller within the Staff, Leadership Section. Do you want to work with qualified financial management in an organization that is constantly developing? About the Unit
TVK Log is a central actor within the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics leadership. We are responsible for ensuring that supplies and materiel are available and meet the needs of combat units – in peace, crisis, and war. This also means that we create the conditions required for the Swedish Armed Forces' sustainability, in areas such as fuel, food, and ammunition.
The unit consists of approximately 120 employees with broad competence in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log consists mainly of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The leadership is located in Boden, but we are represented in several locations across the country. Our work is based on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission – to enable available combat units through the right materiel at the right time.
Main Responsibilities
Together with colleagues in the staff department, you will work with finance within the materiel supply process – from planning and budgeting to forecasts, follow-up, analysis, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with materiel teams, especially project managers in various materiel areas.
To some extent, you will be functionally managed by the finance department, FMLOG staff, regarding reporting and financial documentation.
- Budget and forecast work as well as ongoing follow-up.
- Analysis and reporting to the organization.
- Participate in dialogues regarding financial planning and follow-up with external parties such as FMV and suppliers.
- Support managers and employees on financial issues.
- Handle incoming cases within the financial area.
- Some financial administration.
Requirements
Qualifications
- University or college degree in the field of economics.
- Experience working as a controller or with financial management.
- Very good knowledge of Excel and the Office package.
- Class B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and quality-conscious with good judgment. You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you have good pedagogical and communicative skills and find it easy to collaborate and build trusting relationships.
You have an interest in operational and financial management and thrive in an organization that is changing, where you contribute to the development of working methods and processes. You also have a good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish. The position involves working in an organization with high demands for accuracy, integrity, and responsibility.
Merits
- Experience from the public sector.
- Documented experience and knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics operations and logistics support systems.
Other Information
This is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of permanent employment. Substitute position until 2027-02-28.
Location: Boden.
Business travel is required.
Start date: ASAP or by agreement.
