As an experienced Project Manager for Civil Structures at Trafikverket, you will play a central role in ensuring that our tunnels, bridges, and rock cuts in Greater Stockholm are safe, sustainable, and functional – today and for the future. Responsibilities

The Maintenance Business Area is responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing the existing and future road and railway systems through procurement, steering, and follow-up of maintenance projects. Within the Civil Structures unit, we work on projects involving the maintenance of civil structures (bridges, tunnels, rock cuts, and piers).

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to drive maintenance projects primarily for complex road tunnels and rock cuts in the Greater Stockholm area. You are responsible for the overall management, steering, and follow-up of projects, including budget responsibility, and ensure that Trafikverket receives what has been ordered/procured. You will also participate in project planning, preparation of tender documents, and contract procurement.

A structured and systematic analysis and improvement work within your own operations is a natural part of your daily routine. You will work with various stakeholders, both within Trafikverket and with external actors. You will also answer questions from the public and media regarding operations and maintenance for your area.

The location for this position is our regional office in Solna. Trafikverket is a modern employer where many meetings take place in a digital environment, and you can work remotely up to two days a week. We have chosen to have specific common days when everyone in the unit works at the office – this facilitates meetings between colleagues and spontaneous discussions!

We are looking for you who have

• university or college education with a technical focus (180 credits/120 credits) or other educational background combined with relevant experience in project management and/or industry experience that we consider equivalent
• several years of current and relevant experience as a project manager, construction manager, assignment manager, site manager, or similar
• recent experience in driving large and complex projects in road infrastructure
• experience with budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• valid driver's license for passenger cars

It is also desirable if you have

• experience working with civil structures
• knowledge of contract law (AB/ABT/AMA)
• experience working in the management system BaTMan
• education in Concrete Class I
