We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager specializing in traffic, earthworks, and utilities for a large-scale and complex infrastructure program in the Stockholm region. The assignment takes place in an environment where multiple contractors, utility owners, and stakeholders collaborate simultaneously.

The role involves responsibility for construction management, coordination, production planning, and monitoring of contractor work within earthworks and civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• In the role of Construction Manager, you will, among other things:
• Collaborate with project managers on production planning for complex utility diversions in urban environments.
• Coordinate traffic diversions and Traffic Arrangement Plans (TA) between contractors and external actors.
• Monitor contractors regarding time, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate work between multiple contractors and adjacent projects.
• Handle and follow up on change orders and additional work (ÄTA).
• Participate in construction meetings and project-related meetings.
• Review contractors' work plans, schedules, and weekly plans.
• Collaborate with municipalities, authorities, contractors, and utility owners.
• Participate in inspections and handover of completed facilities.

Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• At least ten (10) years of cumulative work experience in a leading position as a site manager, construction manager, or production manager within earthworks/civil engineering/roads/railways, including work with production and scheduling.
• At least five (5) years of work experience working within a client organization in a municipal, regional, or state authority.
• Documented work experience as a site manager, construction manager, or project manager in assignments with coordination responsibility for complex utility diversions involving multiple utility owners for at least five (5) years.
• Documented work experience as a site manager, construction manager, or project manager in assignments with coordination responsibility for traffic closures in infrastructure contracts in projects or programs with a budget of at least 150 million SEK, for at least five (5) years.
• Good and documented knowledge of AMA and MER, including:
• Education in AMA/MER completed within the last five (5) years (certificate of education must be available).
• Documented experience of working with AMA and MER Civil Engineering in at least one assignment larger than 150 million SEK.

Meritorious

• Documented work experience from complex utility works in urban environments, in at least one reference project with a contract sum of at least 100 million SEK.
