Solna Vatten AB is responsible for the city's water and wastewater operations. Solna Municipality owns the limited company Solna Vatten AB, which manages pipe networks and pumping stations for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. We strive to ensure the city's development through reliable water and wastewater supply for both residents and those who visit or work in the city.

We care for the environment and work towards a functional water and wastewater network for both current and future generations. We are a client organization, meaning we purchase services for contracting and operations. We also purchase our drinking water from Norrvatten and wastewater treatment through Käppalaförbundet.

What does the job entail?

This is a new position primarily involving the following tasks:

• Responsible for monitoring operational contracts regarding facilities within the water and wastewater operations.
• Ensure that facilities comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines.
• Work on the efficiency and optimization of facility functions and operations.
• Responsible for planning preventive and corrective maintenance, reinvestments, and renewal needs.
• Participate in water and wastewater planning as a requirement setter.
• Work with modern tools for municipal water and wastewater operations, such as operational monitoring, maintenance systems, and pipe network mapping.
• Handle operational technical issues within electricity, control, hydraulics, and pump technology.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Master of Science in Engineering degree in road and water technology or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in operations and maintenance within municipal water and wastewater facilities, such as wastewater and stormwater pumping stations.
• Experience with operational monitoring systems.
• Experience with pipe network mapping, such as VA-banken.
• Experience with electricity, control, and communication systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Class B driver's license.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, maintenance systems.
• Knowledge in hydraulic design.
• Knowledge in pump technology.
