Job Description

Do you want to work with ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) and contribute to the development and sustainment of defense-related systems with high demands for availability, operational reliability, and long-term logistics support? AFRY is now seeking an ILS Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring ILS work within complex technical systems.

In your role as ILS Manager, you will lead the work to ensure that systems and materiel are provided with purposeful and cost-effective logistics support throughout the entire lifecycle. The work is carried out in close collaboration with project management, product managers, systems engineers, suppliers, and other relevant functions. You are responsible for ensuring that requirements regarding availability, operational reliability, maintainability, and supply support are addressed throughout the materiel's lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and monitor ILS work within one or more projects
  • Collaborate with product managers and project functions on issues concerning logistics support, sustainment, and materiel follow-up
  • Ensure that ILS deliverables are developed and delivered in accordance with the Key Element List (KEL)
  • Execute and monitor maintenance readiness based on ILS strategy, TTEM, maintenance plans, technical documentation, materiel data, and other governing system and requirement bases
  • Analyze maintenance solutions regarding maintenance levels, intervals, spare parts, test equipment, technical information, and training needs
  • Participate in requirement reviews, audits, project follow-ups, and delivery controls
  • Contribute to the handling of materiel and maintenance data in relevant support systems for materiel management and follow-up

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant academic education or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience working within ILS, maintenance systems, maintenance readiness, or lifecycle support
  • Experience in project work with technically complex systems or materiel
  • Experience in delivering or monitoring ILS deliverables according to KEL
  • Good understanding of maintenance readiness and maintenance planning at materiel and system levels
  • Good knowledge of support systems for materiel management and follow-up, such as Teamcenter, TIA, and PRIO/LIFT
  • Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English

Merits

It is a merit if you have experience working within the defense sector, activities close to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), or other security-sensitive environments.

Security Clearance & Education Verification

As we often work on security-classified assignments, this position may require a security clearance and background check prior to employment. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
