Are you a communicative person with previous experience of being the hub in earthworks and civil engineering projects? Entrecon Consulting has several requests from our clients for senior and experienced project engineers/contracting engineers in earthworks and civil engineering.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and owners. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

In the role of Project Engineer/Contracting Engineer, you are a key person in the projects and contribute to ensuring that production runs smoothly together with the project manager, site manager, and support functions. You will have a broad scope of work and are responsible for, among other things, production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in procurement, attend construction meetings, maintain contact with the client's representative, and handle financial settlements with the client and subcontractors. You will negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, manage tenders, prepare cost estimates, and be responsible for contract documentation. In some cases, KMA (Quality, Environment, and Safety) tasks are also included.

Competence

We are looking for someone with at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in:

• Forecasting and estimating
• Project economics and scheduling
• Resource allocation, procurement, and ÄTA (Work Environment) management
• KMA work (Quality, Environment, and Safety)
• Post-secondary education in construction or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
• Experience from infrastructure projects (road and/or rail) is a merit.
