Klinteskolan

Klinteskolan is a primary school for approximately 300 students, with activities ranging from preschool class to grade 9. There is also an after-school center at the school. We have fantastic conditions with spacious facilities for all subjects, close proximity to both forest and sea, just a few miles outside Visby's city walls.

We have embarked on a journey of change within our school district to improve the quality of teaching and increase student learning. We draw support from research and work at the universal level in our promoting and preventive work. For us, it is important that all staff create a strong school bond with every student. Your Responsibilities

At our school, collaboration between classes and colleagues is important. In the role of a teacher, you lead the pedagogical work in accordance with the school's governing documents. You are responsible for planning, teaching, assessment, and documentation of students' knowledge development. You are part of a work team where interaction and cooperation are an important part of your work. You actively participate in the school's systematic quality work. Mentoring is included.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher with the qualification to teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and technology in grades 7–9. Experience is an asset.

You are solution-focused and have the ability to prioritize, structure, and adapt your working methods. You have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and encourage and support change initiatives.

Creating good relationships with our students is an important trait for us. You have a drive to develop yourself and learning in the classroom to create the best conditions for our students' various needs and circumstances. We are looking for someone who is a clear leader and keeps the student's goal achievement in focus.

About the Education and Work Life Administration

As part of Region Gotland, we contribute to the learning and development of children, young people, and adults in the Education and Work Life Administration. We are responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, after-school centers, adapted primary and secondary schools, art schools, secondary and adult education, labor market measures, youth centers, as well as reception and establishment of newly arrived immigrants. Together, we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
